Thanks for the comments. I pass this field on my way to work so I got up early one morning with the intention of shooting it with a sunrise. Murphy?s law (or is it photographers law ? Sunrises, Sunsets and any other form of good light will only been seen when one does not have a camera in hand) proved itself to be true once again. I turned my back on the light, waited for it to flood the field and turned my attention to the lines in the field using the golden light to increase the colour on the hay itself.
Its in the book for next year for a return when I hope a more interesting sky will present itself.

Hi Kim,
They go great as a collage and as would also do so as individuals. Collage doesn't distract just brings together 3 great images so you can take them in in an instant and you couldn't do that if they were seperated.

Very nice DOF and the back lighting adds to the effect. Colours look a little washed to me and a tighter crop would add to the effect. I would definitely work on it, it would be worth it big time. There is great potential here.
This might give you some idea what is could be like. Now I did this in work hiding from the boss.

Really captures the moment you feel like you are right there in the moment. This is a shot many dream of. 7/7

Truly amazing original photograph Ed. I love the use of the contrast between the shadows and the light drawing you up the isle to the couple walking up it and that is one hell of an organ.
A very original shot and the depth of field is class?.Its such a pity the people in the seats all didn?t remain forward faces as the light of the hair and the side of the face creates a beautiful halo.
What was the light source, the organ?

That village is no iconic representation of France, no village I have ever seen in France had colours like that may I b so bold as to enquire where that was taken.
Wonderful Emily as per usual....

Would like the eyes to be sharp, like the expression and the angle of the face.
