He sure does, it's called peopleware. Plonsky Inc. :)
-
Every comment that I might have as already been exposed (skin blemish: disagreed), so here's a compliment: This one is so cool it could only be a Laura Napolitano :)
Happy International Women's Day.

Background is a little confusing but works. Kinda mind-bender. Congrats.
I think a tighter crop would also make an interesting picture.

What a great creation using such an ugly tetrodontid! :)
Noise annoys me a little, specially in his forehead. Other than that, way to go!
-
I'm running out of adjectives. This one is... uhm... supimpa, muito fera!

I can hardly believe what I see. I'm staring at the beauty of a wasp's head. At the very color pattern.
Does that amaze you? It amazes me a lot!
Some more dof would make me print this and go show to people at the mall. As it is, I'll just HIGLY recommend people to visit photonet and enjoy.

This bee has a such a taste, I bet it gave 7/7 to this flower. I would :)

I bet many future entomologists will blame Mark Plonsky for making them bug lovers :)

Ah... it's smiling :)

Wonderful composition, this "purple thing" helps the subject stand out and makes this "waist-level portrait" a 7/7 to me.
PS: Lacewing = neuroptera?

Very interesting subject, great shot for classes and such. Dof is just enough. I really wish the background had a different color. Can't have everything :)

This is the best of a wonderful series, in my opinion. Has a feel of movement and energy in a zen way.
-
It doesn't tell me any story... just make me remind some good ones (hardest track to identify:: grass) and imagine some more. A jewel.

You've captured a great moment here! Nice composition and dof, allied with this perspective, gives depth to the scene.
At first i felt the image was a bit bleached and tweaking it in PS made believe there's a bluish cast. Here's my version of your image with levels adjusted. I think it would make this very good photo even better.
Ther's also a small vigneting that could be removed by cropping top and bottom a bit.
Ah... editing the comment for the third and last time: Did that mantis get among the ants by itself or...? :)

Great subject colors and detail in a interesting activity. It would be perfect if there wasn't that gray stripe on left.

Very nice!

I'd love to have some feedback on this picture. I had an idea for a
shot (didn't work), but this arrangement came to my mind while at it
and I like the resulting image.
-
Clever composition and dof is good. Would be a 7/7 if the model's expression was very different from what's being drawn.
-
...but its the photographer who makes the difference. Awesome.
-
Great timing. I think a little less dof would make a more interesting shot. I bet Paul Mayer loved it. Hope the other guy doesn't come after you :)

Is it cropped?

Marc, unfortunatelly it's worse than that: it's a scan from a 3x5 matte paper print using a lousy scanner. Pre-tweak file looks as bad as this. I've been too lazy about digitalization, even saved output file as jpg (scan date dec 2000/ jan 2001). I haven't been fair to photonet's spirit :(
I've just bought a good scanner that has negative adapter, so I'll try it. If it doesn't work well(since it's not a dedicated negative scanner), I promise I'll make a large print and have it scanned properly.
Thank you so much for helping me improve. You're welcome to critic as hard as you feel you should, as everyone else.
