I can see all numbers and letters I should. When I bought my monitor I tried to run a quick calibration found using google.

George, how's that nose related to the red ladybug photo? Looks like the same shot to me :~/
-
I like this better than the more complex version, which i find too crowded. Very good folder.
-
This is a very simple photo. Also very beautiful. And touches deep inside.
-
Looks colorized at first glance, I'd love to hear the story of this shot. I like it's composition, but extreme right part is overexposed.
The 3rd person gives a reality feel to this one but also weakens composition and really doesn't fit there. "Reality elements" (visa sign and paper) also have some value but aren't ideal.

USM really works here.
-
I think I'll prefer the third version :)
First one looks great but hot spot makes it unconfortable... which isn't necessarily bad, as some have pointed. This one is better IMHO, but lighter look isn't very good.
You have an impressive work. Keep posting, please.

"this is not what I think it isis it?" LOL Isidro, same here. :)
Wonderful idea and execution, very good PSing. Hands covering face look dark to me. Thanks a lot for sharing this!

Acetone? I could use this process in any photo of mine and they wouldn't get any closer to this. This shot would be wonderful regardless of process
Don't blame the technique, emil. 7/7 is your fault, not acetone's. :)

Best of folder = Excelent!

This was shot during a protest in Brasilia, capital of Brazil. Any

Wonderful. What else can I say?
-
Sword tip looks a bit too hot.
Pose is somewaht unusual and works very well. Love this composition.
-
Tighter crop (cropping wing) would work. But I think it would also take part of this photos personality. Very good expression, color and details.
Cropping not needed, but acceptable. :)
-
Jeffrey, I came to this thru "editor picks link", but I'll try to comment on your folder too.
This photo has some weird red stains. You can barely see the cage's grid and I think this is a good way to show this eagle is captive while keeping a nice look.

Eyes PSed? I can't tell what's make up and whats digital. Wonderful photo.
-
What error, Colin? :)
Shoreline, that makes sense... I thought the blue color was from the sky, but I see it now.
Thanks for sharing this.

Great shot! Dof is right, no more, no less.
Very clever composition. Foreground holds a lot of detail, a nice contrast with the landscape's softness. 7/7!
-
Another vote for square cropping. Wonderful capture.
-
Now THIS is some commented on photo! Not emil's best, very good only.
Spent some time reading this "thread" and this: "Like I like the sight of fish - pheasants - craps and other animals" made me feel better :)
-
Well this is a good photo but it's not an **emil schildt** (shining star, epic music).
Thats really cool, because it makes clear that emil's great photos come from a lot of effort, not some sort of spell that makes him a 7/7 machine. I guess.

IMHO, hair color, background color and fresh composition gives this image its mood. Gesture, lighting and those magnetic eyes finish the job.
Reminds me of Valejo and Bell because of looks, but feels very different. Maybe Brom trying to be nice? :)
Wonderful photo!

Great colors! I'd have rotated the camera a bit to make the branches either vertical or strongly diagonal, but I'm not sure this would work better.
What's in top background that makes it dark reddish brown?
