It was worth trying, for sure! Cropped legs don't disturb me too much, but the tiny black line on top of photo does.

I think composition is ok, but I'd like to have a bit more sharpness.

Roberto, would you take a look at the adjusted levels image and tell us if its closer to reality or a total miss? :)

Great photo, Tom. Only thing that disturbs me is a cyan cast. Maybe those leaves and the butterfly's wings really look like this. Anyway, it's a bit disturbing :)

Nice idea, but the resulting image has some flaws already noted. Here's a example of what you can achieve adjusting levels, cropping and using UnShap Mask. Very quick tweak.

Great colors, smart use of background and dof. Seemed soft at first but now I believe that's due to focus being in eye-fond-psitacid's body instead of head. Tigher crop would be nice.

Very interesting. I've made some concert photos and this brings me a lot of memories. Good composition.

UnPSed photos DO have a chance. This could be faked, but I don't think it would get any better, and probably some details wouldn't be so nice. If I were going to chance the process of making this photo, I'd rather go there and schedule a photo session than making this up digitally.

Sharp enough, cool colors and very nice reflection in frog's eyes. Also, a interesting expression.
