  1. Maybe just a bit more space below the reflection of the boat in the bottom right. Maybe make the whole bottom right corner darker. But what I really like is the foggy atmosphere.
  2. Another atmospheric photo which I really like. If I had to search some bugs, it would be the small island cut in half by the photo frame in the left center - but it's a really minor flaw.
  3. Third (and last) photo from Neist Point lighthouse from this series.

It's a bit sad to see these signs of decay and vandalism (inside the

lighthouse area, some building doors were broken and the furniture and

other equipment inside was damaged). Back in 2007 during my first

visit of this location, the fences seemed to be well maintained.

I have read somewhere that there was accommodation for rent in the

lighthouse cabins, and also that there were some issues with the owner

trying to restrict the access at the point of first gate at the top of

the cliff at the end of public road.

  4. Another photo of Neist Point lighthouse, this time with maybe even

more prison appearance than the previous photo. Of course I made some

"classic" Neist Point photos on this occasion, but they seem to look

same every year, so I tried to find some different angle of view this

    time. Comments appreciated.

Thank you for your comment. I agree with you that the lighthouse looks like a prison from this angle and it's not so far from truth - the buildings form a small yard inside and surround and "guard" the light tower. Also the fences around are creating somewhat "prison" feeling. The area is a private property - just one of the buildings and the tower is maintained by Northern Lighthouse Board.  Some accommodation with self catering cottages used to be here, but it's now derelict and decaying.

  7. Hello Larry, thank your for your compliments. Unfortunately, Scotland is not my home country. I am happy to have a chance to spend a nice holidays with a camera occasionally there - it's a great relaxation for me.

    Foggy ridge

Foggy day with low clouds on Bioda Buidhe, about one kilometer south

from the parking place near Quiraing, with the Cleat hill in the

    front. Comments appreciated.
