Excellent photo! Yes it's a standard shot, but you have done it extremely well. Very effective image for its simplicity, and what a fine looking kid! Who could resist, I hope you said YES.

Nice homage to one of photography's grand traditions! Sometime in the early 80's Ansel Adams predicted photography would ultimately be done by electronic means, I think he would have found this realization pleasing.

Gorgeous expression, really extraordinary. Excellent portrait!

Wonderful panorama! The mottling on the snow and sky textures work extremely well together, very luminous feel to this image. Excellent job of blending.

I like this very much, extremely elegant shot! Simplicity is often beautiful. I'm glad you didn't unreasonably exaggerate this image.

Wonderful shot, Virat! It would be nice to see it a little bigger. You should try PTGui for stitching, much easier and far better than Photoshop.

Wonderful panorama, simple and elegant, you let the beauty of the place show through without needless manipulation.

OK, I'm a sucker for freckles...even so this wonderful photograph is very endearing even though it breaks more than a few so-called "rules." All your kid portraits have this same sort of disarming sweetness, just like real kids! You have good eye, keep it up, don't change anything.

Innovate use of shadow to isolate a subject in a textured environment. The usual scheme is to throw the background out of focus as bokeh, but you found an original way to present both foreground and background without conflict. This works very well for this handsome shot!

Very interesting sequence. Doesn't tell me much about the fish, but you have expertly reminded me of what a child's mind is like! I like this image a lot.
BTW your gallery is fabulous!

I've been looking at this for a while, so I think I must like it! The "rule" of a strong central subject is somewhat broken here, but the overall ambience and beauty of lighting and place are excellent. Considering it as a sort of panorama, I have to give it hight marks.

Interesting, pleasant, dreamy photograph, really very nice. I don't like to be a "cropping cop" but just cutting off the background to the left might help a lot.

Clean, crisp photograph! I like the black background, it makes the subtle progession of colors in the tomatoes stand out.

The "less than ideal" lighting situation is one of the things that make this image such a grabber! A soft light would have made it less interesting and would have bored her into a say-cheese smile. "Fixing" the bright area around the eye would lose a lot charm. You made superb use of the available light, and captured this exquisite, fleeting millisecond perfectly. We just have to live with the fact that reductions on the downloads here compromise images to a considerable extent.

What a pixie! Amazing smile caught just right, that light splash on eye adds a sort of luminous wink. Excellent portrait, she's going to love this shot in later years.

Don't change anything. The expression & hair & dark colors work extremely well together. Like this one a lot!

Fabulous shot, John! I can smell the crisp, pine scented air. You really did capture the expansiveness of this place. More!
