how do I request a critique on a specific photo in my portfolio?

Thanks for the responses. I did jiggle
the frame selector lever and the lens
and it did not change. I am assuming
it's not an alignment issue.

I have a Leica M7 with a .85 finder. I've noticed with 50mm lens that the right side frameline will become dim or disappear at some eye
positions. Not sure if this is just due to the angle of view or if adjustment is needed. It's worse when I wear glasses.
Thanks

You can get a used X100 from borrow lenses.com

Thanks very much.

I have a Nikon F3 and was wondering if I can use the focusing screens from my old Nikon F. They seem to fit but I'm wondering if there will be any focus issues.

Thanks for any help with this.

Since Nikon got out of the scanner business, I'm wondering who makes a good scanner (for 35mm negatives) for under $1,000. I'd prefer not to get a flatbead as desk space is limited.
Any recommendations?

Does anyone think that the .68 viewfinder vs .72 is a big deal. It looks like the M-E has .68 as the only option.

Can someone recommentd a good lab for 35mm film processing and scanning in the Boston area/suburbs. I'm looking for high quality roll scalling (color and B&W).
Thanks

Is anyone planning to have Canon inspect their 5DIII for the light leak issue? Not clear to me whether this is worth sending the camera in for.
Is this really a non issue?

In Photoshop 10, I'm working with RAW files. When I open all of the raw files in a folder I can see them, all in the panel but when I open an image to save as a Jpeg, I lose the window with all of the raw files and then have to start over by opening the raw files again.
Is there some way to move between the window with all the raw files and the Jpeg conversion process?

Thanks

More speculation here:

They have stated that Leica lenses will eventually be supported, so it's probable that Zeiss glass would also be supported.

-

Thanks, Sounds encouraging.

Now that Kodak has filed for Bankrupcy, what is the expected availability of Portra 400 film?
Is production stopping during the financial reorganization?

Thanks everyone. I downloaded the 64 bitversion of Vuescan and it's working fine.

Brooks-thanks but why the 32 bit version of VueScan not 64 bit since Windows 7 is 64 bit?

Does anyone know how to make a Nikon Coolscan IV film scanner work with Windows 7?
It looks like it's not supported but I thought there might be a work around.
Thanks

I am running an older version of Photoshop (CS2) and have no obvious reason to upgrade.
I would like to use Lightroom and was wondering if there is any dependency on a particular Photoshop version. Does Lightroom even require Photoshop or is it completely independent?
Thanks

Yes, I think it's the bottom part of the circle that I am seeing.

Has anyone used the Leica X1 brightline optical viewfinder?
I notice that when I look through it, I can see a half circle underneath the certer lines. I find this a bit distracting. It's less noticable if I move my eye directly in contact with the rubber eyepiece. Has anyone else noticed this issue?

Has anyone noticed that prices seem to be up quite a bit on used M bodies? Any idea why this has happened recently?

-

Yes, it's a new camera with full warranty.
