My cat has a kitty-condo, these guys have a cat-dachya (my spelling?), hehehe... Neat shot!
-
it just works very well - the haze is there, yet there is nice clarity in the sunject without losing the feel of the scene. Great!

I love this photo! I usually hate doctored photos - they do nothing for me, in general, but this one I couldn't turn away from!
-
Well, please let me know what you think - I would really appreciate
any and all feedback! Thanks in advance, hope you enjoy the pic!

I don't know which category this belongs in - it was taken in a
coffee shop, not posed at all - I can't believe that myself when I
look at the picture! (I asked the girl's guardian for permission of
course) - so its kind of street/children/portrait.
I was going for that vintage grain look - the scanner seems to
really kill all depth in these photos...
As always, any and all comments welcome and very much appreciated!
Thanks for looking!

I wold play with DOF - its not very obvious that any of the image is in focus, and when you find what is, you kindof wonder why... Vibrant colours, nice light - I thinkyou can do more, do better with this image.

I think this framing is the only one that makes it look like something other than a catalogue picture of a wall lamp. The distant, empty feeling makes it obvious its a cold nigh indeed... I think it has to be this way - and I like it!

I agree completely - I was disappointed with this air-show because the aircraft were so crowded that it was hard to get a lcear shot of anything. And with the size of the objects, it was difficult to try manipulating DOF. My original aim was to make sure nothing "modern" was in frame, but I had to give up on that...
Thanks for hte input - much appreciated!

The reason for the unusual (for a warplane) bumble-bee paint scheme -
one of the leat enviable jobs in the business - a target tug! This
airplane towed a sleeve on which trainee pilots sharpened their
gunnery skills! Any and all comments welcome, thank you for
looking:)

A very boring scene - car in front of house... yet you manged to make it veryinteresting! Great job! Love the way the colours look almost like selective colouring, yet natural... Really like this shot.
-
love the grain - it works well here!
-
Louise, you are absolutely right - I had a hard time framing this photo just right because of other objects coming into the frame - in retrospective, they may have been less intrusinve than the crop as is. Thanks for the input.

All comments welcome and appreciated - thanks for looking!

This is a very rare bird - not only is it a Spitfire - it holds many different historical significances. From a photographer's standpoint, its paint scheme is unusual - and unlike many warbirds that were repainted by civilian owners, this one was flown in combat in this black with red motif scheme. It may also been one of the last combat uses of a MkIX Spitfire - a tribute to the aircraft, its designer, and not the least, the pilots who flew it into the jet age and came back alive! Lovely lighting on this shot, the light glinting off the canopy... great!

The model T of the post wwII eastern sphere of influence sky - the An2! Its flying away here... but you know it will be around for ages... I like the photo.

Thanks for looking - any and all comments welcome and appreciated!
(please forgive the low quality of the scan...)

Great shot - congrats! I think half my hair loss can be attributed to trying to photograph pets, hehehehe - and you made it seem so effortless, with such great story telling in the image! Bravo!
-
Well done - there is quite a range of shadow and ighlights here and you got it all with slide film! I like the perspective too.
-
All I can think is "Abbey Road" gone wrong hehehehe...:)
I do like it though, quite a lot! Great exposure, contrast - love the expressions!
-
Thanks for looking - any input greatly appreciated!

The waves make an otherwise common image stand out - good eye! I would like to see more tones on the actual bridge - or have it a complete silhouette - as it is, its a bit grey.
