I see too many distractions. In the top left corner at the top of the bottles I see someones shoulder. On the left part of the photo there is a bright white unidentifiable figure. The table corner takes away from the photo. I don't like the crop at all. Looks as though it could have been an attractive photo however the distractions and bad crop are hard to over come. I hope you find this critique more satisfying than the one you left about the photo of my daughter.

very nice. I like the softness of this photo. her expression is lovely. I'm not sure if i prefer the color or bw version. They are both very nice.

I agree on the shoes. Besides, I have no idea what kind of shoes I would put on her that would have gone with the theme. As mentioned above, fairies don't wear shoes lol. I think that is true. lol

 

the 2 shots are almost identical. Although, they were taken 2 steps apart. which you can somewhat tell from the way her basket is positioned. I have a hard time with these 2 pics because I like them both and just can't decide.

yes, very slow. But, there is one poster from there that i keep in touch with. His help has really moved me forward. I like the critique forums here. But, the chat boards I have found to be a bit unfriendly lol

precious little yawn. I'm not fond of whatever it is that he is propped up on. The shadows on the left side of the photo are distracting. all in all a very cute pic. 5/6 :)

Thank you for your comments. She's wearing wreath. Although, I have noticed that in these photos it is hard to tell. The 'triangle' is a shadow :(. I had to crop this photo to an 8x10 to print it, and when I did that the leaves and roses on her head were chopped out leaving just the shadow. But, I love the look on her face in this photo. So, perhaps I'll photoshop it out.

this is beautiful. An image I could live with.

The collage is for display on the critique forum only. However, I don't find it cheesy. What about it seems cheesy to you? I felt that shoes would take away from the theme that I was trying to portray. what type of shoes would you suggest?

I didn't do any of the retouching on this photo. It was done by a retoucher that I hired. It's a pageant retoucher. They retouch the photos so that they look perfect in everyway...fake. Skin was smoothed, lips enhanced, eyes were whitened and brightened, hair was smoothed and strays removed, brows shaped.

beautiful model. I like what you've done with the headdress. That is one of my favorite effects to use on my childrens photos. It sells like hotcakes :D

 

good dof. I would rather see this shot vertically. Watch the sun, the splotches on her face and hair are distracting. Fill flash would have helped.

oh my. see, I apologize again. I knew not to try and guess lol. But, do you see what I'm saying about the right eye? no white is showing, no light is in the eye. So, it looks flat and empty. again my apoligies!!!

gorgeous shot, BEAUTIFUL baby...oh so beautiful. the right side of the photo with the pillow under the head is kind of distracting. Makes me wonder what was holding the babies head up. Was something removed from the photo? However, still a terrific shot and easily overlooked. I can't get over how lovely this baby is!

what a lovely little girl! Nice lighting in the eyes, however around the eye area it is a bit dark. Also, a bit flat. I disagree with the above comment...I would rather see the photo without it being turned. Also, this looks as though it was a very colorful photo. Would have loved to see it in color! Very nice job all in all. Look forward to seeing more of your work. :)

beautiful shot. The eyes could stand to be a tad brighter. I like that you chose to make this a horzonatal shot. love it.

Is the baby missing an eye? or hav no white on one of the eyes?
