Beautifully composed and taken.

This is one of my first few photographs with the new Fujifilm X100...its
fixed lens requires more disciplined shot planning than other point-and-
shoot cameras but that is the whole point, I think

Beautiful photograph. And thank you to John Ellingson for sharing the story and the insights into Ansel Adams' work. We, as a community of photographers don't share these stories near enough although we share photos more often...and it is nice to hear a story that gives us a glimpse into how one of the world's best photographers worked.

How exquisite. The tranquility and serenity of this capture is remarkable. There might have been a crowd around you but no ones would know...that is the beauty of photography. Congratulations.

It is spectacular, Tony. I would give my right arm for one of these beautifully recorded fleeting moments! A famous golfer once said "The more I practice the luckier I get!". I love it!
Kind regards, Hung -

Beautiful capture!

Lovely, evocative photograph! I prefer that the blurred person not being there or being still when the photo is taken but...you can't have it all:-)

Sensational!

Thanks Jerry,
Thanks for your comments. I like this photo for its "summer travel brochure" look. I think that the female arm on the left side, with its painted nails and sun glasses adds to that atmosphere. I agree that the fill in flash might have helped here although there is a risk that it would make the face look flat with all the lines ironed out

We stayed at a bed and breakfast place in Hobart with sone alpacas.
Some of them were not the most trusting of animals!

Lovely photo. Innocent, mischievous, sense of fun and irresistible life force, against the background of immobile, immovable, obsolete structure. Nothing needs to change, it is one of those photos that one joins photo.net for!

This is so evocative of the long drive to Key West, the endless summer days. Thank you.

In contrast to your usually warm tones, this photo's colder tones stand out, effective and eye catching. Gorgeous model.

The this photo shows movement, fluidity and grace. Congratulations.
