In this case I don't think you should compare his approach to painting..but that's just me.

I'm quite taken back by his arrogance and intrusive behavior. What is funny and almost unbelievable is how he yells at those he photographs (when they smile or react to a man shoving a camera in their face). I don't really think this guys "style" of photographing is one that really opens peoples minds. There are plenty of photographers who find "characters" without this semi-abusive method.

I have been looking around and reading reviews on 4x5 tanks and surprised at so

many problems with uneven processing. Someone wanted to sell me a Combi Plan

Tank and quite pricey, but when reading reviews..not so good..this goes for

Yankee tanks also. There does not seem to be many choices in tanks either. What

tank would you recommend?

Respect? Where have I disrespected you? You had posted with accusations that someone who probably wasn't even a member(me) ripped you off. You hadn't even emailed me to complain, ask questions or discuss anything until after this thread was made. Again..as I stated earlier you had also not had this on your list of priorities and were also a week late and told me you forgot about me. Am I wrong? And as I've said..your $5 has been sent out. You're right..if I have time to post..then I have time to post..which is why I haven't posted for almost two weeks until today. I can't really apologize again for sending payment out three days later than I actually intended.

 

I've bought a 4th version Summicron and I'm still waiting for it to arrive and I know trust, patience, and communication is a necessity before trying to blast the person on the forum for something they may not even be partaking in, like scamming or trying to use them as a negative example. So please..relax..your hard worked $5 and generosity have not been taken advantange of.

Also I've heard that Hoya filters work but they need to be single threaded..although I didn't try them.

I didn't expect this to take place. I guess I'm the "bisexual" name being discussed here, haha. I'm currently in my school library and just came to check the forum to break myself away from studying. I have not received the grip yet, but in the email you sent, you indicated that you just sent it last Wed./Thurs. and before that you were also saying for a week that you kept forgetting to send it out, which was fine with me. Your $5 has been sent out already and I was not about to rip anyone off..so your "warning" to everyone about me is pretty ridiculous.I think you could have handled this in a better manner since I have always responded to each of your emails very promptly and let you know that I was very appreciative for the "gift" (an abundance of Thank you's). Thanks anyway..

I'm looking for a 43mm UV filter. Apparently the lens I'm working with only takes a 0.50 pitch thread and I read that those filters are now discontinued. I was told that B+W E43 or a 43E Leica are the only ones that would work. =(

any links to places that sell used..sometimes miscontinued filters?

Just on forums ..peoples personal reviews/opinions..etc. not on any major website.
