I'm not sure where to put a message like this, but I'll try here again :)

You have said something about constructive critisism and how you always should leave a reason for liking or not liking a photo, I have still no idea WHAT works with my photo "Victoria".

Why I am nagging you is because you are pointing out for me that I should leave more comments (something I did yesterday) and I agree that I should, but then I think you should also do what you say in a forum, "Any rating without a comment is worthless! Live with it or leave". Just a "yes it works" helps me just as much as a rating..

beautiful! dark, clear and full of details!

Have you put her in to the photo in ps?

Even if the lights looks right, it's just something about it that looks a bit "fake".. not really in a bad way tho, You have named it fairy in forrest or something like that, so it should look a bit "fake"..

  1. I really like this, how you have put her towards the window looking away is really good!!

Good use of the colour blue, makes it cold and lovely.

I would have her bearfoot but thats my taste, its not a bad thing at all:)

When I see this photo, I think about Francesca Woodman, the way she objectefies the body into spaces. If you haven't seen her work before, have a look.

Wow, I love this!!! He looks like that regular at the pub down the street, always nice with a good story after a pint.

It's a really good photo, you have really captured a good expression!

I would maybe crop away the left side of the photo, so he is not so in the midle of the image, and also the white head women is not that visiable.

this photo makes me really smile!

    Well done!

    sorrow

I'm not sure if I can see sorrow, not a strong one that is..

It might be the camera angel, u are looking up at her, but if you have the camera a bit higher up, she looks a bit smaller, that might help a bit.

For me, she looks more like she is longing, thinking about something.

I'm sorry that I can't really help you out about how you can express sorrow really... Maybe not make her eyes glaze towards the horisont??

    (sorry about bad spelling)

  2. Really good choise of colour of the background, really works with the tattoo!

I do wish you had just a bit more movement on her body, make more dynamic in the image. (make her bend her back more)

    But I like it!

    Cool tattoo!!

Like taken out of a theatre or a Victorian Opera.

    Beautiful.

The logo takes too much attention away from the photo, I would removed it, but thats me tho.

You have really captured a fantastic expression to the girl closest to us.

  3. This is absolutly beautiful, absolut something I would put up on my wall!!

I kinda remind me of one of daVinci's scetches of bugs, same delicate lines, the gray and warm tones.

I think that the one on the top is the one that makes the image so special, how you can see the movement in the wings. Fabelous!

Nice tones in this photo, like how you have made a "line" through the photo with the foot path.

I would maybe called it leaving, because I get a feeling that the person is walking away. Might be because the persson is walking away from the camera, but also because we can't see what the person is walking towards and how u have cropped away most of the leggs. this really works, and I like it.

Thanks for your comment on my photo, but I am wondering what you ment about it??

I haven't said anything that I have given loads of comments, I ment that I have got some comments on it in Uni, modified it, and wondering what people on photo.net felt about.

So u think it works, I'm now wondering what works about it?? What do u like about it?? not like about it??

It's something about the tones and colours of this photo that reminds me of summer holidays in the evenings when the sun were setting and everything were just quiet and calm.

You have really capturet an atmosphere, love the use of cropping. I think she is sitting in a window frame or outside on a bench..

    Beautiful!

It is something very erotic and dark about your photos, and by seeing one of your photos, you can kinda recognize your style and taste in the other ones.

Why I choose this photo I think it's because of the cropping and the use of hands. I can make a story in my head because you are not telling me the hole story, just dropping by with hints. Love it!!!

I think a photo should tell the story, not by the props, but how any part of the photo is cropped and presented. This is my favourite!

  4. At this Abbey, you can find one of the graves they say King Richard

    is barried.

This photo makes me think about how the place looked and feeled like.

Now it's full of tourists. I think I like the photo more then I liked

    the place.

Pleace make coments, and please tell me what ever u feel like about

    the photo.

  5. wow this is really amazing, something very sensuall, beautiful tones combined with sensual lines. I think what I like most with this photo is how she is going out of the frame, making us wondering what she is doing, and how she is gesture with her hand, (i LOVE the use of hands to communicate "something") u have made the shadows so soft and playful, but at the same time they are not too defuse.. It's like I don't wanna know the story around the photo, I think I like my story best ;)
  6. I am not sure if it is any weeknesses in this image, it might be, but I am not sure if I want to look for them. A co photographer ones told me that sometimes it is the imperfections that can make one image better. perfect is boring, and as a painter, I guess you agree.

I was actually thinking that you really are a painter in teh way you compose your images and in the way you use layer on layer to create a type of mood. Another painter that joined in in the photography world is Loretta Lux, who does claim that she would not be able to create her images if she was not originally a painter. I think the same thin about your images. They have a painter quality.

As I work on moods in an image, I do think that you have captured a very romantic mood, almost a mood of lonlyness or that the woman is waiting for someone or something..(therefor the name...)

    Good work!

  7. INteressting.. I did like it better smaller, because you have not removed dust from the image!! Why is his jeans open? I do think it just makes the image cheesy. you would be better of having it all button up. especially since one hand is reaching down and I'm not so sure how hot that makes it..

You got very hard light, something that really looks good on a body like that, but maybe a bit burned out some places? Could maybe see more skinn tones?

Very good composition, can see some reflected light on his jeans down in the corner.

Very beautiful pose, reminds me of victorian paintings or something like that.. The best about the image is her hands, they suggest something by having one finger almost pulling down the dress, put with the other one holding it up..

I am not sure about how you have used burningtool to make the background darker, it's better to do that while you are taking the photo(have it about 1,5 stopps darker) You can see that you have used some kind of tools where on her left you have made her hair also darker and on the right side she is "glowing"..

But it does not damage the image.. Really beautiful!!!
