This is a fantastic shot. One that I'd love hanging on my wall. I like the "feel" this picture gives me and is capped off by the house in the distance...

Please give me any feedback. I think the Sepia Tones lend to
the "memory" theme. This seems to be popular with the parents as
well... Thoughts?

Wonderful shot! I can't say anything about this photo except it's a perfectly execute photograph. Perfect timing, perfect light, perfect croping. Thanks for sharing!

I absolutly love this image! The reflection in the water and the silhouette of the bridge is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing!

even without the tail. It's like the bull and rider are jumping right into the image (which I guess they were!) My cousin used to ride which is why this one caught my interest! I usually just comment on team sports which is more my area, but this is really a great shot! Thanks for sharing!

I have tried to make this shot during tournaments several times and I see now why mine never worked. The balls were always too new. The worn look of the ball, the grass in the infield, all lends to a great pic. Congrats.

This is really a great shot. I like the tight crop and the intensity of the shot.

I like the composition of this shot. Even the slight blur of the racket shows the action.

Looking through your other tennis shots, I think I found a couple others that I would have posted, but the expression of anguish (?) on her face makes this one a pretty good shot. Part of sports photography is capturing the bad moments as well as the graceful... Thanks for sharing!

That's the 3rd of my three little girls...

Thanks Chris... I noticed the DOF but a little late. It's not quite as apparant on the reduced size, but when it's blown up is quite noticable. Thanks for your comment!

I'm not so sure the dog felt the same way! I would appreciate
comments since I'm new at portraits...

Rec Ball All Star Tournament. This girl made several great plays.
Very intense...

This shot is best from the ground. In action we don't have the luxury of asking for a "do over" and i think ground level gives the viewer of your shot a look they never get from the stands. It's like you are a part of the action! Great Job!

I love your model's look on this shot.

These shots are great! I agree with you that a couple seem a little grainy which is surprising with the film you were shooting. I do like the color that you got in the gym. Do you manual adjust white balance in the gym? Use preset? I never seem to get it quite right in my basketball pics (which is why you see none posted on mine!) Great Job! A friend of mine coaches girls v'ball at a high school. I look forward to shooting it soon!

Catching the player behind the mask is sometimes a difficult job.
We see their action but seldom see their expressions. This girl was
looking back for instructions from her coach...

I love this shot because you can see the intensity and drama of the play. The defenders in pursuit and #7 in a classic stance. Some here might say a little over-exposed, but I think it's fine. No shadows on the face and I love the crop except not getting the feet in the shot. Everything seemed perfect for this shot! Congratulations

These girls were both "giving it their all" trying to make an out in
this NSA Area All Star Tournament.
