good stuff, sharp action, great subject. I wonder if adjusting the curves would sharpen this a bit and perhaps take the sky down a stop or so to help focus on the subject?

Actually I only shoot raw, but did use a render light effect on this to draw the eye to the car.... if that's what you mean... thanks for the comments..

I have started on my project to document Roadway Shrines. I'll be

posting a bit more of these over the next few weeks/months as the

projects gets a voice. I'm looking for comments about what might help

to set the mood and in composition/color etc.

I tend to like the hi-key work so I think it's great. I also prefer where more is left to the imagination so again good coverage ....

 

I would like to have seen the variation that you undoubtly took with her looking at you ... perhaps with the head slightly tilted? :->

 

 

love the pose, photo etc. The only thing is the lighting/color seems a little soft to me... which tends have a orange hue to it... abut otherwise love the shot and the others of your "favorite model as well"

I stuggle with these type of shots alot. I think when you there's magical but from this vantage point - it sends to just look faded. for me I believe when you get the clouds/fog only certain parts (like how it overspills golden gate park) really provides the best contrast.

love the shot... from where I sit I wish the rest of the sail was in there... it's slightly distracting that it's not. That being said Obviously a great action shot.

Love the angle, contrast etc... It would have been good to have one where she was looking up from that angle as well... anyway great shot.

been there many times, will be again in the spring, great shot cannot wait to catch the spring colors!

I think this shot might need to have some of the red/yellow take out to get back to a better skin tone as this is somewhat distracting for me.
