Mike, this is a keeper. The front ripples really added to the dimension of the photograph.

Thank you everyone! I got this place all to myself that day during the magical hour/minutes. There were a few other souls earlier in the day but they all left before 2 PM.

Thank you Jeff. My primary purpose of posting the B&W photo of the Racetrack is so that viewers could figure out that the black shadow is real. I guess it worked.

Very nice "Chinese Painting"! I think the background color complements the photo perfectly.

Amazing details!

Hi Mike, I like the horizontal composition better. Perhaps darken the sky/clouds more to bring out the drama? Didn't stay for the lightning show? I probably wouldn't have either.

Mike, I have been staring at this photo for a long time. Though it is busy, I don't think that bothers me much. Perhaps the color (green) could be more saturated?

I like how the path leads to the dramatic sky. Well done!

I like this one as well. Monochrome works well here.

Indeed it is a beautiful shot. Painterly!

I agree, the couple makes the shot. Great photo. Congrats!

Greg, no fill in flash here. I did use a GND filter.
Thanks everyone for your feedback.

This is the horizontal version of the photo I posted last week.

I like the sharpness of the portrait and his expression. Lighting is very good. Overall a very nice portrait. My only critique, certainly a nit-picking, is that personally I would prefer a better blur of the background. The background looks to me is very noisy. Regards,
Eugene

Love the lines, the pattern, the shadow and tonal range. A great image.
