1.
Morning/afternoon all!
OK, not really great shots but thought you all might like seeing this. I had to shoot an overnight time-lapse of this ice sculpture being assembled that was commissioned by MetLife for this year's NFL Super Bowl in Indianapolis, Indiana. Besides "babysitting" the HD Camera that was recording the 8 -9 hour assembly, I took the liberty of shooting a few shots while things moved along.

00Zy6B-439375584.jpg.64eb4b9d8c51bf91134297151689fb52.jpg

Totally forgot that I was trying out pk-tether myself for the 1st time too! (Getting older is such a pain). Apparently I had "turned on" debug mode there and was able to turn it off from the GUI. Thanks for setting me on the right direction.

  3.
Here's a new one on me. Was messing around with my 540 flash and turning off the "auto shutdown" option as per the instructions. No big deal. Then without any provocation, "debug mode" displays on my Rear screen the next time I turn on the camera. Can't figure out how that happened nor can find a way to turn debug mode off.

Any suggestions on how to get back to "normal"?

  4.
Wonderful work all! Seems I learn something everytime I log in. None from this week but 2 from a few months past. First a little fellow that was outside my sister-in-laws window.

00Y85f-326937584.jpg.286a4fe13c76b95958fc8662478349af.jpg

All the external ports on your K-7 and K10/20/K-5 are sealed internally. These include the ports protected by the flimsy rubber covers.

Of course this makes sense... just never heard it confirmed before! Thanks all for the replies. FYI, contacted customer service in Colorado and though they're not sure why the cover is no longer offered through their web site, Pentax will be sending me one free of charge. Customer service, it seems, is picking up.

  7.
Very Nice shots Matt... guess I need to spend a little more time downtown myself... Have lived in Indy/subs all my life. I've seen that guy a few time downtown - never thought of shooting him. Go figure!
