Can I use an SB28 or SB23 with my M6? What settings should I use? My M6 is the
non TTL version. Thanks!
-
Took my M6 and F100 through without any problem.
-
You should get the M grip which improves the handling.

Just bought an M6 with 50mm Summicron and was thinking of getting a 35mm as
well, as I cannot afford to get the Leica version I was considering the
Voigtlander 35mm F2.5 pancake lens, would any users give their opinions on
this lens? Any example photos would be appreciated!

My M6 and 50mm Summicron will be arriving tomorrow and as I already have a
mass of Nikon gear have I gone crazy? I don't want to start a flame thread
here but I'm going to Hong Kong soon and I thought I would spoil myself! I
think I'll have to practice the film loading a bit as it can be a bit tricky,
hope to post some pictures when get back! Oh dear I feel like a kid waiting
for christmas. . .

Hi all, my wife and I are going to Marseille at the end of september, I'm
hoping to take some nice shots around the harbour. If anyone has been there
recently can you recommend some interesting places? Any feedback would be very
welcome. I'll only be shooting film, mostly Black and white. Thanks!

1 GBP per litre in N.Ireland, roughly $7.75 a gallon!

F100, SB28, 28-70F2.8, 85F1.8 and FM2n as backup. Wow am i the only one still using film?
-
Maybe a Hasselblad Xpan? Panoramic function as well.

28-105F3.5-4.5 AFD would be my choice as it's lighter and has macro capability.
-
I love my 45mmF2.8P lens.
-
F3hp with 35mm F2 Ais. Close second would be the F100 with 50mm F1.8D

I was in NY for 9 days and walked day and night with my F100 around my neck and felt safe, fantastic city! However Barcelona is a different story, one time while I was among a crowd someone tugged at my camera but I held firm and he ran off! I think if you just be vigilant and use common sense (unlike me) you should be fine.

Hi Suchitra, I have this lens and it is very sharp from F2.8 onwards, I think it is the best value for money lens anywhere. The only downside is that it's entirely plastic but for $99 you can't complain. If you do a search on Photo.net for this lens there is a wealth of information about it.

Can't go wrong with the Fm2.
-
Era has to be the 80's, happiest year 1998, favourite body F100.
-
Another vote for the 85mm F1.8.
-
I'd go for the 24-70 F2.8Ex and the 70-200 F2.8Ex both are excellent lenses.

Hmm... Leica blows Canon out of the water? I dont use either system as I prefer Nikon but I've seen photos taken with the 85mmF1.2L and I don't think you can get any better, it's a fantastic lens! As for the 35mm F1.4L, IMO it is the sharpest lens I've seen and yes I've seen slides taken with summicrons and elmars etc... Don't get me wrong I love Leicas but IMO there is very little difference, if any, in lens quality of leica and the professional canon and nikon lenses.

I have the F3hp and an FM2n. The FM2n is used with the 45mm F2.8P and is very compact but 99% of the time the F3hp is the first camera that I would take out with me! IMO the F3hp is one of the finest manual SLRs made, so it would be my choice.
-
I have an F100 and an F3HP and I can say that the F100 is a far superior camera, having said that, I prefer to use the F3HP as I love the feel of the older manual cameras.
-
Oh dear! There's been so many discussions about this on Photo.net. If you want to change, go ahead! Troll.

I use Sigma EX lenses along with my nikkors and they are just as good optically.
Nikon flash.
