1.
C Watson started off his comment this way: "with respect..." He's offering a real-world perspective that corresponds to the limitations you outlined in your original post, i.e. barely any time to do the actual shooting. Besides, aren't you the owner of a bunch of costly rangefinder equipment which would be perfect for this situation? So what if you used it the last time, the "artistic" goal you're looking for will not come from cumbersome tools in a rush situation; any artistic result will come from your ability to intuitively manipulate the camera while concentrating on lighting, expression, timing, and composition. That SWC won't perform any of those things for you.

 2.
As the owner of an affected camera (by serial number) I'm pleasantly shocked at how different a response Nikon is providing vs. the D600 debacle. Seems they learned a public relations lesson big time.

 3.
I've come across an odd item I'd like your feedback on. As the subject line says, it's a USAF 1951 1 X target with the added text "Gurley Troy, N.Y." printed on what seems to be glossy photographic paper.

What's odd (to me) is that is measures only 4" x 5".

Am I mistaken to assume these targets would be much, much larger in size? If necessary, I can post an image later.

What do you think?

 4.
Just got it and would like suggestions for which SD cards folks are having success with. I don't need top end speed nor video and size is 32GB or 64GB. Have always had good luck with Sandisk but maybe there's better bang for the buck?

Also, are people using LCD screen protectors? I don't baby my equipment but I am careful with it and I'm ditching the OEM one but I've read the LCD is already impervious to scratches so is one necessary?
