    Thanks for your thoughts Pierre. Its hard to shoot profile macro shots with most setups I suppose, due to the extra shallow depth of field involved. I kind of liked this shot for the interesting lines and hues of the shadows. Cheers, -Mathew Cook-

    Haiku Trail on Oahu, HI. This is a very fun and challenging hike in the mountains of Oahu,

    Hawaii. It is constantly raining and socked in with cloud cover, so this shot was rather

    Very nice image. It is certainly pleasant to look at. I think the composition is slightly bland though- with the sky and the water sharing such equal portions of the frame. Maybe a different crop could emphasize one portion or the other as the Subject of the photo. Just one humble opinion. I still do like it either way. Cheers, -Mathew Cook-

    Thanks Ryan. Yeah the fisheye is a dynamic and very enjoyable lens to have in a kit. My wife and I have a lot of fun with our nieces and nephews with this lens because of its close focusing distortion. Thanks again. Cheers, -Mathew Cook-

    I like it quite a bit. And while I understand where John's coming from, I believe if you wanted a critique for the photo straight from the camera, you'd have posted that image. I like the treatment. Its pleasant and soft and dreamlike. Well done, Cheers. -Mathew Cook-
