  1. Just wanted to express my thanks to this forum and Stephen Wong.(he

sold me a lens) He is a man of integrity and I get the feeling he is

representative of the core members of this forum. I look forward

after coming home from a hard days work to go online and see what

you guys have to say !!!!

    Cheers

  2. Last week I helped a friend shoot a wedding. I rated ilford delta

400 at 250 and used auto exposure mostly. I overexposed the the

dress in many shots. I chose to use auto exposure since I'm still

getting used to the framing and focusing of this camera (I mostly

shoot with DSLR). I guess next time an incident meter and some

bracketing. Any tips on exposure methods using Leica M's under

pressure at a wedding would be appreciated.

  3. Mr. Fang,

I own a canon mark 2 and 6 lenses. It performs great but I sure love shooting my M7. I spent 25 days in Indonesia last November lugging that big DSLR and lenses around (laptop, cards batteries etc.). Only the leica will go on my next trip. The rangefinder gives balance to my photography (even though I'm not that good with it yet)--- I'm not sure that would be called "denial"--

  4. Greetings,

If I want to start playing with infrared film with my M7, what would

be a good choice of film to start with ? If anyone knows an online

source of information on technique that would be applicable to this

    camera that would be helpfull---

    Thanks
