Yes, it seems tilted to the left a bit. The rings in the water are the giveaway.

I think you captured a great shot of a very interesting bird. The low angle with the OOF shells and stones really adds punch to the shot.

Great capture. The colors are deep and rich, too. I think it could use a clockwise rotation a degree or two. These beauties won't be in my neck of the woods for another month or so.

Interesting shot. It looks like the beginning of a crash landing!
-
Great shot of this pair. Noisy little buggers though, aren't they?
-
Nice level point of view. I like the vignetting effect you added. I saw a few of these birds heading North as well this past weekend. It seems odd that something so large can actually fly. They make the goofiest noises in flight.

Great shot here. The expression is perfect.

A fine image. One to be proud of.

Great shot. Interesting position of the head, wings and legs! I like it.

Holy smokes, Monte! This image is among your top shelf stuff! Of course, there's always something that could be improved upon ;-) If the fish were facing us, it would then be PERFECT! 7/7 in my book

Very nice capture. I agree with Monte, a vertical crop would work good here. It could use a little more canvas at the top as well.

I really like the effect with this one. Was this done in camera or photoshop?

Very nice photo. I'm fond of wooden boats. One thing before you're "Ready For The Lake" though....don't forget the life jackets!

Richard,
I'd have to agree that the front views are tough to get....mostly luck. I read somewhere that good luck is when opportunity meets preparedness. Truer words couldn't be spoken and this shot is proof. I wish it were mine!
-
Well, Walt...there wasn't a lot you do about this shot other than to pass it by. I would have done the same thing. Take the shot just for the sake of the opportunity. I suppose you could've cut some of those twigs and limbs away, but I don't think the hawk would be that patient!

Excellent composition. The straight on view really works well. I think the angle of the branch adds the right touch to the image.

I like how the bird is looking down into the frame.
-
Good capture. He looks like he's eyeing one of your feeder birds.

Great colors, feather details are pleasing.

Very nice capture and composition.
NO, that's right, NO!
