Rosie,hi,I see you love roses also. This is very nice. I love the colors of red and the splash of yellow. Roses of the red hue are very difficult to photograph, I find that they tend to be a bit masculine. I personally have had great difficulty doing the red ones with much success. anyway this is good and I hope you dont mind but I did a little playing around with your image in Microsoft picture it just for fun. And again your image is very nice.

Thank you very much David and Robert for your comments and compliments. What can I say I love to do these as I love roses so it is very enjoyable for me to spend lots of time photographing them. I hope to get better as time goes on.

Marjan,Zdenko, Thank you for your comments. Yes your correct this is grainy. I use 400 Iso film. I know I should use a much faster film for these but I have simply gotten used to using 400 Iso film. I think I am going to start using something different this year and then master that. hopefully I will get some great rose photos. I have planted 8 new rose bushes so I will have plenty of opportunities. Once again thank you for your kind comments.
