Cyrus, no you didnt comment on this one, before now that is, you know I just cant help it. I have to take lots of photos of this little one. He is changing so quickly. Now he smiles right after the pre-flash. He really does like to look at his own self. LOL The acorn doesnt fall very far from the tree. LOL. He is just like his daddy loves to show off. thanks for the comments.

this is just another version of One of my roses. I did quite a bit
of playing around with both of the images that I posted of this
photo. Let me know what you think.

Thomas, thank you for your advise. I agree with you on the film issue. I much preferr using film. I would like to go with digital though to save money. I also agree with the fact that this does look digitally re-colored, I am new to Photoshop and this is my learning experience, I did do several versions of this but this one was my favorite. Oh yeah and thanks for not being too hard on me, obviously you have much more experience than I in looking at your home page that is . I really do appreciate the comments though, would much have advise than a low rating with no comment, would also rather have suggestions rather than just negative input. so Thanks I will keep all your ideas in mind for future refrence as I fully intend to take many more of these type of shots this summer.

Julius, this is great, and there is never just another rose. Oh and by the way the red hues are the hardest to capture as they tend to be on the masculine side. It is very hard to show the softness and beauty of the red ones. This is good though and keep up the good work. I would like to see more so I can see the Canon 350 D's performance with Roses. Nice Work.

John, This is a lovely rose and a nice capture as well. I really love the color of this one. Nice Work.

PS. I hope you don't mind but I did a little playing with your image. I really believe it would look good cropped to bring out the beauty of the rose. I did tweak the brightness and contrast a little but it wouldn't have needed it but thats just me. again hope you don't mind.
