Audrius, I really like the warmth this photo generates and the added interest of the two photographers in the foreground. I would crop off the contrail at the top of the photo. I'm just curious, is your name Lithuwanian? The letters are similar to the letters in my last name which is Lithuwanian. Great job! Dean Sauskojus

Jeff, I really like the serene look of your photo. I think the smoke contributes nicely. Probably not possible, but can you get closer to the reflection making it a larger part of the photo? Nice job. Dean

Hi Waldemar, Really beautiful shot! The atmosphere adds a good feel to it. I think what would make it even better is to crop the bottom right where the dark lines start. This will help to move the eye through the photo. The bottom to me stops the fluidity of the image. Congrats, Dean

I took this image about a week and a half ago in Yellowstone.
Appreciate any comments. Thank You.

Charles, I think the best part of this picture are the patterns in the dunes. They lead your eye right into the photo, starting from the corner right to the ridge in the background. I wonder what it looks like without the heavy shadows. Great dune shot! Dean

Well done. Beautiful tree and composition. The shadows on the ground put it over the top. Congrats!

Kurt, You really scored with this one. The texture in the rocks, wow! Your composition, lighting all done well. Congrats. Dean

Ernest, You really have a beautiful image here. That said, is it possible to move further to the right? It would work better if you could use more of the highway as a lead in line to the picture and to cut off the car dealership in the left hand corner. I love how you used a small aperture for the light stars. Nice work! Dean

This image is a departure from my usual landscape images. Tulips can
still have a certain beauty after they have run the course. Thank you
for your comments.

Dan, You have a wonderful photo here. The lighthouse really makes the shot. Don't worry about the 3/3 ratings, they're full of it. I think they need to throw out the lowest rating and the highest rating to be more fair. Regardless, I would be proud to have this hanging on my wall. Dean

Jeff, All my pans on my website are crops from 4x5 images. From doing shows I've come to find out that they outsell my normal rectangular shots 2 to 1. There's a guy here in Bozeman that makes a living selling super wide pans. I do whatever I can to make a composition work and I do what will bring me more sales. Sometimes I can see a pan when I take the shot and sometimes not. Maybe I'm a bit premature but I have noticed that posting (mine and others) them on photo.net, that pans have not gotten a favorable response. This particular shot is very favorable for a pan. Good luck in your endeavors. Dean

Way to go, very nicely done. Definetly a keeper! Dean

Hi Jeff, This would make a beautiful pan (I'm kind of a pan nut). I would crop the bare ground area at the bottom of the photo and just above the large cloud at the top. Excellent use of the sun and its placement in the photo. Its in a notch helping to lead the eye into the photo. Great shot! Dean

Mark, Nice balance with the trees on the left. Good Job! Dean

Ya, The sky looks a little strange but what a beautiful composition you have here. Well done! Dean

I agree with you Stephen, but I would take it one step further and crop it into a horizontal. The rock isn't big enough to fill enough of the frame for a vertical and its flat on top. Better fit for a horizontal. Beautiful light! Dean

Felix, If you could have gotten the same light in the other image of this it would have been your better shot, although I love the metalic look of the rocks against the large moss colored rocks. The cloud coming into the photo at top right is a real distraction. Very unique photo otherwise. Dean

Hi Zaneta, Very unique and beautiful image. Could you have included more of the top side of the tree that is hanging out over the water in your photo? Just feels cut off. Great image as is but could be grand! Dean
