    Alone

Arup, knowing from the other pic how beautiful that tree is, I would include the whole tree and level the horizon. Assuming it is possible (obviously I can't see what's out of the frame), I think shooting this in landscape, increasing the space around the woman would increase the sense of lonliness.

Arup, a lovely image. There seems to be a lot of dust and other artifact on the image. Better have a look at your scanner. I wonder if the sense of solitude would increase if there were more space around the tree and the tree were off center? That's really more a critique of the title, I guess.
  1. Arup,

Beautiful photo. Well composed and great use of reflection. The streak of cloud adds a good diagonal element to the image. It looks a little washed out on my monitor. How's the original?

I'd use fill light for her face (maybe a reflector from that window) and darker exposure of the window which is blown and overwhelms the image.

This is a lovely photo, but in my opinion, it's really a portrait and colorizing the flowers distracts from this beautiful woman. I'd go all color imo

I like this image, the tonal range and contrast. I've never seen sand in a wedding. What does it signify? My only negative is I think the angling of shots is being over used in wedding photography and I'm not sure it adds anything in this case IMHO.

Don't you love that 10.5. As this is photojournalistic style wedding coverage, the blue bag doesn't bother me. It was there, you were there.

I like this photo though to me it is more fashion than wedding. It's rather contrasty. I wish I could see more detail. Also, the way the couple is posed, they looked detached, as if they were models and not a new happy couple. If you were going for the fashion look, you succeeded IMO.
