    Amateur... thanks, I have it both ways, but I liked this one better. Actually, I shot about a dozen varieties as the sun was coming up... and before the helicoptor had to shift due to high winds. ;-)

    thin line just separates image from black filler. i've seen images that I merely comment. "I love it, wouldn't change a thing." There's nothing I would change about this photo. I submitted it for "critique" because that's only way anyone ever sees it on this site. Just sharing.. not necessarily interested in critique at all. But, thanks for stopping by for a look.

    actually, this was edited on a mac.. there's actually more detail in the source image foreground, but I wanted the giraffe to pop more. But, now on this PC I can see that it's more contrasty. Oh well... still looks close to what I was after. And there's plenty of detail in the RAW file.

    ...can look at an image like this and STILL find fault. It looks as I intended. Accept it or not... makes no difference to me.
