Thanks for looking

I can't tell you how many people loved this photo at the winefestival. You are so talented now all you need to do is know accept it.
-
Great Shot. I love your portfolio. I was thinking about getting the Sigma 10-22. How do you like it?
-
Thanks everyone. I think this would be a good cover for a book. Plenty of room for a title and it conveys mystery making someone pick up the book.
-
A little bit of Salvador Dali in this one. I could probably crop and
get some other cool compositions.
-
I wanted simplicity.
-
I had to keep running up and back to these rocks before a wave would
hit me. It took atleast twenty rounds and people were looking at me
like I was crazy. They didn't faze me. When I am in the zone I stop at
nothing to get what I want.

Thanks to all. The composition and light were very hard to perfect for this shot. If hadn't been for one of my tripod's legs being broken I don't think I could have got the forground, ocean and sky in the composition. I do think the gradiation of light is a little unatural looking but I love making photos that go beyond what I just see.

Thanks for looking. I have wanted a shot like this for a long time.
With my equipment I couldn't figure out how to get the forground and
backround exposed. So I did a double exposure.

This shot is fantastic. You always have great stuff. I noticed you use a B+W polerizer & ND filter. What is the difference between a regular Polerizers/ND filters and B+W Polerizer/ND filters?
-
Sweet Shot. Did you use a polorizer and flash for the forground exposure? I don't know if you used ps on the sky but the blues seem a little oversaterated. I still like the way it looks. Great Job.

Thanks for looking. The composition of this is what makes it one of my
favorites. When I was standing there it just looked like some rocks on
the shore and some big ones further out. But when I found my perfect
composition I knew I was chosen to be here at this moment. The four
little rocks and the four big ones seem to represent the balance of
life and the importance of big and small. I call it nostalgia b/c I
hold this moment with me every were I go. I hope you enjoy it and
please comment on anything that you think needs improvement.

Thank you Walter for your nice comments. Once I got my Neutral Density Filters my photography took leaps and bounds. I am still trying to perfect my use of them. If you want good color I would recomend getting some ND filters. And about the many sunset shots in one day, I am fortunate to live near some amazing beaches. Also sometimes I find old shots that I want to post. I like your B&Ws.
Best Wishes,
JM
