Use new Rollei Scanfilm CN400 Pro. The film is color without the orange mask, which makes it easier to print in a b&w darkroom using standard chemistry and a filter of 4+. This film is sold as a color film for b&w printing and appears to be what you're looking for. Rollei is coming out with a 200 version in October. You can buy the film through Freestyle in the states or Robert White in England.

Get a sheet of *anti-newton ring glass* to replace the current glass in your contact frame. I had the same issue and the new glass solved it.

"I'm comfortable with discomfort, and this deal makes me uncomfortable. I like to go to the mall the day after Thanksgiving, too. That's how I'm wired."...
Thanks for letting us all know how you're wired. But is Thanksgiving 'art'? What about all the other holidays?

I applaud you all...wonderful images.

So, in one paragraph you state the Internet is "a piece of crap" and then you claim "almost everything I know about taking pictures was learned somewhere on this site."
If your thread is "the thinking man's 'This forum sucks'", then put your two comments together and let us know what you "think".

You've been a valuable contributor by sharing images that have proven how the best camera equipment and finest optics still can't save a photographer from producing mediocrity.

When coating paper with platinum/palladium (using a glass rod);
small, black specks often appear on the surface. Does anyone know the
cause?

Can you guys post some pictures to clarify the argument? Visualizing is the key here, and Leica-created porn shots would really help.

Okay: Van Gogh never sold a painting, but his work is considered art. Van Gogh also cut off his ear. Now if a tree fell in a forest, would Van Gogh have heard it?
Let's get back to bitching about the MP.

For point & shoot, I use a Minox GTE; the best pocket camera for what I need to capture. The lens is incredible and provides the sharpest images. A faithful P&S companion, and Minox is owned by Leica.

Can someone provide feedback on the "new version" NPC 195 camera?
I've used the Polaroid Pro Pack camera and would like to step up to
the latest NPC 195. However, I'd like more information from users, in
regards to performance, quality, and optics.

I recommend Fuji NPS 160 for good color rendition. I also enjoy using Agfa Ultra 50. Using Agfa Ultra depends on how saturated you want your color to be. Whatever film you choose, at least try one roll of the Agfa Ultra 50.
