What a unique building! You composed this so well and captured the perfect timing, it appears. What city is this?
-
Definitely a stunner. Very powerful scene with strong romantic appeal. Well done!

Beautiful and unique. I've seen the tulip fields of Oregon and Holland in many photos, but this is the first sunset version I've found. Well done!
-
Great control of light! Looks like what the eye would see, and it's a beautiful scene.

I would echo Stephan Penland's comments about the cloud structure in this composition - it's excellent. But with their ethereal quality and the bursting brightness of all the verdant FG, I wonder if the sky might also want to be a lighter shade of blue? That could be worth a try...

Definitely a strong and very effective portrait. Great composition. Very interesting choice to increase color saturation as most images like this go the other direction. I really like it!
-
Beautiful composition with gorgeous shape and texture throughout. It may be worthwhile to try lightening the FG a bit. Well done!
-
Terrific composition! Nice take on the rule of thirds, in several different ways. A slight vignette accentuating the sand peak might not hurt.

Without the right lighting this scene is fairly mundane. But with this light it's pretty fantastic!
-
Simple and very alluring.

For me it is your treatment of the sky that sets this image apart. That detail seems to make this image both a landscape and a portrait at once.
-
So well done! Fantastic expression within a perfectly composed sea of isolation.
-
Beautiful colors that really evoke the coldness of the place. The shapes and reflections are terrific and the FG anchors the scene well.

This is one of the most beautiful takes I've seen on the Bilbao Guggenheim. Excellent tonality all throughout.
-
I like your crop here and the way that the water surface abstractly enhances this illustration of structure. You've got my vote :-)
-
Excellent, Timothy. The best photograph of red that I think I've ever seen. Structurally it's an effective composition on its own, but with this riveting color scheme it becomes quite a standout.

Great work, +1 vote from me!

Thanks to all for the feedback, it's very much appreciated.
David, I really love your observation about the shadows. They are hard where close to the steps and gradually softer where the curvature forces greater distance. That detail of this geometry was one of the physical conditions that I was "stalking" to get this image - thank you for calling it out.

An excellent exploration of structure, great image!

If this doesn't say "Structure", I don't know what does!

Another take on Cloudgate (the Bean) in Chicago. Thanks for looking, critiques are
appreciated.

Perfect for the contest :-) Compliments!

A very strong composition and appropriate color/tonal treatment. Definitely perfect for the "Structure" theme!
