I've just been given a flash unit. A chinese Phoenix ZBIS-92P with ttl dedicated imprinted on it. I've had no
luck with a manual, searched butkus.org and diplodocs.com... no luck. After reading a bit about flash units it
looks to be a no thrills unit. Anybody know where I can find a manual for it? Or perhaps for a similar 'generic'
model.
Great forum group... thanks. Paulo

I'm about to jump back into film processing and have been given Rollei RLC developer to use on Ilford HP5+ (120)
film... great, except I can't find much info on developing times. The bottle's lable mentions a 'basic time
figure' of 6minutes, see: http://macodirect.de/images/RLC11.jpg ...but doesn't this depend on the film used?
I've googled and searched on 'The Massive Dev Chart' and Ilford sites but can't see any cross-references to
Rollei RLC. So any help/suggestions would be much appreciated ...before I resort to a tedious trial+error approach.
Thanks in advance

Well, just checked, and things look better now. Thumbnail = Image. I guess it just took a while for the image servers to find their opportune moment to update things... nice. Thanks again Josh.
-
Oh ok Josh, thanks. Although I've waited a day or so and see no change still, even with different machines (in case of local temp files).
Infact now I'm in a weird situation... I uploaded a test image (just a plain green canvas). The thumbnail (blank greenish canvas) changed but not the image. I'm trying to put it back to normal and no luck.
-
Thanks to everyone who alerted me to the method of updating an existing image
(see my previous thread)... from the image's 'Options' menu choose 'Edit Image
Info' then 'File To Upload'.
However, after a few tries I've had no luck with it. Sometimes only the thumbnail
changes, but the image stays the same. Is this feature working? Or, perhaps a
bug?
-
Yep... exactly same here Michael.
Actually I was trying it out again and loaded a test image (just a blank frame) so now I have a blank (greenish) thumbnail. And worse, it looks like the 'File To Upload' feature isn't working at all now.... so I'm kinda stuck.
-
Well I'm glad it works for you Michael... but here no such luck.
All I want to do is replace the image with a new one with a slight adjustment which was based on other peoples comments. How hard can this be? I thought it might be my browser retaining images in temporary files but I've deleted these... I've even tried on other machines to make sure this wasn't the issue.
-
Didn't know my initial question would generate such a response, thanks.
But I'm still going crazy with this... I've tried Patrick's initial pointer of 'Edit Image Info' then 'File To Upload'. I browse for my improved image file and click 'Submit Changes'. However, when I go to see the image it's still the old one... I have tried deleting Temporary files and all offline content from my IE6 but the old image is still there.
Any suggestions?
-
Nice... Thanks very much Patrick.

After heeding critiques and suggestions on one of my photos I've modified the
image and would like to re-upload it. How can I do this without loosing the existing
critiques (which prompted the modifications)?
Thanks.

I spent 10 days in Israel this January and agree with most of the above. One of the most hospitable places I've ever been to... and felt totally safe walking around dangling a camera on my shoulder around Tel-Aviv, Jaffa, Haifa, Acre and Jerusalem (although to a lesser extent here in the Old City)... You can see a selection of shots I took in my portfolio.
