Yes don't know if I should crop out the jeans here. I'll work on it then upload for critique when I have time. You probably recognise the location, the Old City wall. I took this quick shot of my wife... we were in a big hurry because of an approaching storm.

The presentation options written above - crop, no crop - dont much matter here. Shooting upwards was the right choice and does justice to the mood of the picture - tall and proud!

The model may make the shot but the story here is more of a successful collaboration. The woman's demeanour and expression is attention-grabbing and projects among other things intelligence self assurance and a touch of mystery. The flowing wind framing her face adds to her beauty but could be ominous. And in the background the dark sky about to break adds just a touch of tension to the composition.

This is a poster of a film coming soon to a theatre near you.

This is a good fashion style portrait...I like the strong confident gaze from your model and I like the contrast between her hair and coat and the stone wall and sky. My only issue with this image is that I would like to see just a bit more detail in the dark coat.

I agree with JK and it is a point more important than mine abouv. I too think there should be texture in the coat and perhaps in the hair. I frequently have this same problem with digital and shooting "raw" files instead of tiff or jpg I think has helped. I am not sure.

Thanks again to everyone who left a comment/critique. Your words of wisdom were greatly appreciated and prompted me to heed some of this advice and upload a slightly different image... infact just some lightning (as much as I dare) of the dark coat just to add some texture. Here it is...
