so what about color management, is this somehow under control. if so i want two.

photographers have been using ballheads for verticals for many years, apparently just recently its recommended you buy a 250.00 L-plate, I have been shooting verticals with just a ball-head for many years and find it works fine.

joyce, higher education in photography is wonderful, but has its limits, its up to you to take it to the next step, use your time and finaces to explore photography, get some good equipment and use the time to persue what you feel gives you the most enjoyment, and discover your place in the field, there is the world of higher education and the real world, you have done the former now cut loose and see what you can do.

shun, if you start off by extending the leg under the camera a little, this will allow you make the adjustments necessary, or you can send off 200.00 to RRS, more of an equipment junkie issue than a necessitie.
