Cute. Nice story, very heartfelt image.

Very crisp image. Perfect perspective.

The red colour provides a stark juxtaposition against the grey sky. Where was this image captured, and, you must have been in a dangerous location to capture this.

Very very nice black and white capture. Great job.

Mark,
Thank you for your very kind and constructive critique of my work. For some rease I am having a difficult time with the colour balance. I shoot film and scan it at a lab. When I look at the CD and compare it with the side, the scanned version is off. So I adjust it in PS 5 to approximate the slide as close as possible, but somehow when I upload the image the colour is off. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Peter,
Thanks for your very kind and constructive critique of this image and you are correct, better framing and lighting would improve this image considerably. Again thank you.

Thanks Stephen. I hadn't noticed this before. I stacked a warming filter under a polarizer; nothing else. The exposure was taken very early in the morning.

I have been to death valley twice and have not made it to the racetrack. I did not have the required 4WD high clearance vehicle. What did you drive to get there. I am planning on being there in January 2010. Hopefully I will be able to capture amazing images as you have

Zeeshan, Recently I started shooting black and white film almost exclusively. It capture the true essence of things. I love the busyness of this image. I never found the Kodak academy film you suggest a few years ago. Take care

What a facinating image and intrepid. I have not visited your work for a while, shame on me! Nice to know you are still following your bliss. I want to be like you when I grow up. Take care and thanks for the inspiration.
