I took this picture in LiangShan region of China, where the main
population is Yi minority people.

Along with some traditional life style. No much people want to do or
can do to save it.

All critiques are welcome

They are actually corns, one of their main stocks. The other is potato.

In January of 2006, I took a trip to Liangshan Yi Autonomous
Prefecture in Sichuan of China.
They are really nice and full of hospitality. They have been living in
the harsh land for thousands of years.
I hope they can also enjoy current Chinese prosperity and still
preserve their unique culture.

The pic does not look natural to me. Maybe I miss something in here.

The lens is Voigtlander 15mm. Used on Leica M6. Very severe
vignetting. But this time I think it works for the picture. Still
learn traditional darkroom techniques.

Thanks for the commends!
I use Sprint Record to develope my film. It was taken on Hasselblad 503CXi under F2.8 and 1/15 sec. Man, was I overconfident about my holding-still skill. I will try to bring my tripod when it is 5 PM in November. :)

Shot on Kodak Tri-x, scanned on Epson 4990. Increased contrast on PS.
I think too much grains due to too much agitations.

This is so powerful, subjectively and objectively!
-
This powerful picture deserves a careful study!
-
This is certainly one of those color pictures that make me feel like a B&W. Excellent catch!
