    Igor, it was only a zoom set to 210mm (effectively 315mm on my camera). The secret is the bird is acclimated to me ans I was only about 10 to 15 feet away. thanks for looking and commenting regards,

    Hello Dieter - nice subject matter and exposure, but I find the centering of the bridge less than ideal. Putting the bridge off to one side somewhat and using one of the shorelines to lead you into the bridge would be an improvement IMO. Regards,
