Thanks David! I was mounting the FD 50mm lens in reversed onto the filter ring of the 100mm Macro lens. They said that DOF was paper-thin in this type of set up and they weren't kidding. This was really hard work and the paid off (as we have seen here) is not very sharp and short DOF. I think I'm going to keep the FD 50mm lens for still life photography on tiny subject. It's way too tough for using it on the moving insects.

Nice catch! Great shot! I think the spider was trying to eat the beetle (I can see two of its feet luring the beetle into its mouth).
