Its monsoon in Bangladesh now. the van pullers stopped working and

parked the vehicles as it was raining. Daylight, point and shoot.

Found him at Banglamotor of Dhaka City. By profession he is a

rickshow puller. Just had a cup of tea and he was curious about the

man in front and what was he doing with a camera.

Bangladesh earned her independence on Dec 16, 1971, after 24 yers of

struggle and 9 months of guerrilla war. Just two days before that day

ie, on Dec 14 the Pakistanis and their collaborators killed the

brightest sons of the country. Rayerbazar. This is the place where

the intellectuals were murdered. Their hands tied behind, eyes

blindfolded. The structure of the broken wall was made to memorise

the date. The broken shape says- One may apply the strongest attack,

but its tough to demolish- when is is a nations spirit.

This photo was taken from the Slums Of Rayer Bazar Dhaka. No air

conditioner, no Electric fan, just this hole helps him stay cool.
