Saw these venerable old lads in Kensington Gardens and just had to get a photo of them.
Come on, who could resist? Let me know what you think.
Thanks,

Filippo.
I really like this photo. I think the composition is excellent, and the effect it portrays is distinctly mediterranean. One thing I especially love about it is the colour. Could you please tell me how you managed to achieve this effect. Was this a result of the natural light at the time? Did you use any filters on your lens, or did you adjust the colour saturations in photoshop? If you did, would you mind telling me what you did?
Many thanks in advance,
Emeka

Love This Photo.
The imagery is just staggering, very well done Larisa.
I must say, if I ever manage to take one this good, I may stop there. But you please keep shooting!

Jason.
As you're asking, I reckon this photo is primarily dominated by light. The cone effect showing increasing illumination is rather good, as is the presence of the hand. I'm not too sure what to make of the motion blur in the fingers, but again, this is governed by the balance between the available light & shutter speed. The absence of light in the bulk of the picture is another significant feature.

I'm still working on the whole shot composition and conversion to B&W bit, and would
appreciate any feedback.
This photo was taken at Trafalgar Square in London.

Very nice detail capture.
Great colours, and a good looking subject.
Nicely done sir!

This is a really interesting picture, Luke. It certainly conveys a great deal of emotion, and an obvious bond between the subjects. I also like the "widescreen" aspect of the shot. The way you've cropped it makes it look like something from a movie.
Very well done sir!

Stunning, Very well done Alec!

Not entirely sure of the location Michael. I walked from Covent Carden, up Neal St, past some street performers, looked to my right, and there it was. Had to get the picture, should have noted the location I guess. Regent st isn't a bad guess, could very well have been.

Again, another great capture.

It's not easy to make mountains look as majestic as they should, but you sure managed it here. This reminds me of the sweeping opening scene in "The Two Towers". Very well done.
