I agree with you that there is something her that needs to be photographed, I would be inclined to say that you did not catch the essence of it. The white of the building is over exposed and the trees are underexposed. The shadow in the front also distracts from your picutre. -
This picture has to much contrast and to little subject to be of interest to me. -
