  1. A magical moment ... I cannot remember when I have ever seen snow

simply fall from the sky without a cloud in the sky. Evidently - -

with moisture in the air and cold temperature - - this does occur.

Back-lit was the best way to capture the glistening snow falling and

show detail in the tree tops. Critiques and comments welcome.

That look, that stare, that shrinking box effect, lighting, concept, detail, emotion, and overall dark, yet reaching out, feeling of this image ... almost 3D'ish. Very powerful and intense. Great presentation and photography work. Very impressive.

Perfect time to take this image .. time of day, time of year and simply a perfect moment in time. Detail, clarity, composition, color, lighting, perspective, DOF, concept, originality, creativity ... it is all here. No suggestions ... other than ... do not change a thing ... Perfect 7s!
  2. While driving on Highway One, along the Northern California Coast, I

came across this old (and partially new) barn with multiple

buildings. I was amazed at how well this barn and land were

weathering time and seemed to be self preserved. I captured a

series of images, but this zoomed in image caught my attention.

Thanks for looking. Thoughts and comments welcome.

Excellent reflection ... looks like a great abstract painting with great color, shape and form. It is always nice when you can capture that effect using photography. Very impressive!

Marc: Outstanding image and intense capture of the power of the Ocean. Just enough motion and just enough detail for intensity - - very impressive. You've captured it all - - especially during the magical last moments of the day. Excellent work - - doesn't get much better - - Perfect 7s!

Raw and intriguing with great detail ... yet bare. Cropping and/or rotating might work and/or dividing and hanging side-by-side and/or let the beholder arrange. Or alongside others in similar design and form. Definitely an attention getter and great abstract just the way it is. Very appealing for something so simple.

WOW Chuck! Intensely perfect! There are waves - - and then there are waves - - and then there is one like this. Man vs. the power and strength of Mother Nature! Simply, an amazingly intense captured image and moment! Impressive scale perception, angle, crop, clarity, etc., etc., etc. Very powerful, perfectly captured and presented. WOW!! Perfect 7s!
  3. Bowling Ball Beach is a unique beach on the California Coast. There

are over 200 round boulders that have eroded from the hills and

mysteriously gathered along this beach. This is not man made. These

boulders are typically under water. On this date, there was a minus

low tide that exposed the boulders in the filtered late afternoon

    light. Critiques and comments welcome.
