An interesting and unexpected find while walking at Moat Creek Beach
during a minus low tide. Though not a key archeological find, this
aging boulder captured my attention enough to ponder and capture via
pixel. Keep your eyes open ... you never know what you will find.

An unexpected image from a recent trip to the coast. Taken on a minus
tide day and awaiting sunset. In print, this image has a metallic
sense to it. This is full-frame ... and I may opt to crop and work
with the RAW file. Critiques and comments welcome.

An enjoyable trip to the California Coast. I have always admired and
marveled those that surf ... catching a wave ... Unfortunately, I
cannot surf, but can watch from afar and capture the moment through
the lens. Critiques and comments appreciated.

Lake Tahoe is an amazing place ... At 6,229 feet above sea level,
over 193 square miles of surface water, with an average depth of 989
feet, 71 miles of shoreline, surrounded by a vast mountain range ...
and with intense color and water clarity, Lake Tahoe is simply a
Precious Gem in the Sky ... diamond, sapphire and emerald quality -
all in one. We just returned from a relaxing week in Tahoe. After
living in Tahoe for nearly five years, I seldom had the opportunity
to capture a calm water sunset ... until now. Wishing everyone all
the best during this time of year and always. Comments appreciated.

When you can see the unseen, push the limits of photography, keep it simple yet powerful and create art ... you have created magic. Excellent work and vision. 7:7

Yosemite Valley is a very spiritual valley ... day or night ... and
especially upon a full moon. Critiques and comments welcome.

Ruud - you always seem to have the eye for detail, pattern and design. Great composition, angle use and pleasing to the eye.

Wolf: Your vision to detail, framing and flow of the image all come together in great fashion. The intense and vivid colors are amazing. Great eye and presentation!

Hope Valley in the fall is simply amazing. An early snow has dusted
the surrounding mountains with subtle hints that winter is slowly
creeping upon us. As I adventured up the Carson River I came across
this location upon the last rays of the day touching the California
Sierras. Critiques and comments welcome.

Fall is here and the Aspens are illuminating their golden color
Winter is near and snow has fallen. With the blankets of snow, winds
and elements, it simply is amazing that these trees can survive in
such harsh conditions. As a result of these harsh conditions, we are
blessed to see unique twists, bends and alterations from a standard
straight growth. This tree caught my attention and appears to be in
celebration of the season. Critiques and comments appreciated.

Now that is intense! The red is absolutely amazing. Great photo!

With the wildfires burning in various regions of California, the
skies and sunsets have been quite interesting. Critiques and comments
are welcome.

Fall is upon us, the end of the season, time to harvest the grapes
and produce the "Nectar of the Gods." It is not peak fall color
season yet, but I was pleasantly surprised to capture this cluster
and color. Comments and critiques are welcome.

Thank you Ruud, Juan, Tyler and LaVida FotoArt for your comments and ratings. Glad you enjoyed this unique image.

In a recent trip to the California Sierras in early August, a natural
snow cave was discovered which was created by natural seasonal run-
off. Debating the risk of a collapse, a final decision was made to
venture in. This cave was approximately 200 feet long, approximately
20-30 feet wide and about 6-8 feet tall. The colors in the ceiling of
this snow cave are natural; I am assuming the red color is from the
seeds and/or sediment; and, the blue areas are thin areas with sky
illumination. This experience was simply an enjoyable and unexpected
delight.
Critiques and comments welcome.
