Thank you Bengt I appreciate your answer. Do you know which Rolleinar acts as the parallax correction filter? Does it have a different designation written on the filter? I am still trying to get this right.
How does one differentiate between a 3 piece set and the 2 piece set?
Thanks,
Tom

No, I am referring to Rolleinar set #2. The one I have consists of 3 total pieces, 2 number 2 rolleinar filters and 1 larger fatter lens for focusing. I of the Rolleinars attaches to the fatter focusing lens while the other attaches to the taking lens. Does this sound right? I belive that is the proper way to use the set. If anyone knows different please let me know.
Thanks.

I have a couple of questions about Rolleinar filters I'm hoping someone might be able to answer. I have heard
that there are sets consisting of 3 total filters. For example a set of Rolleinar #2 filters, one for the taking
lens and one attached to a larger lens for focusing. The larger lens has the red dot which needs to be at 12
o'clock. Does this sound right to you folks? I've also heard there are Rolleinar sets consisting of only 2
filters, one larger for focusing and one on the taking lens. What is the difference between the 2 and 3 filter sets?
When using the set that consists of 3 filters which rolleinar does one attach to the focusing lens and which one
goes on the taking lens? Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.
Cheers

It is not my favorite photo from 2003 but I like it. I've enjoyed expearmenting with color and seeing the incredible results you can get with the 35mm 1.4 ASPH, especially wide open. I find that scanning chromes is difficult with a Nikon scanner. It seems to have difficulty handling the properties of slide film, well, the one I used did anyway. This one worked well enough though.<div></div>

I discovered Ara Guler by accicdent while traveling in Turkey. I picked up a copy of a book titled Tribute to Ara Guler. It is in Turkish, German and English and contains his favorite black & white photographs along with comments from photogs such as HCB, Ernst Haas, Koudelka and others. It is absolutely great. Before leaving the country I found a HB copy of another book called Lost Istanbul and the 2 are favorites in my collection.<div></div>

Richards used Olympus SLR cameras for the bulk of his work. I was told his eye sight is not so good which led to some of his more interesting crops. He does not shoot with Leica M's. I interviewed him for a class once and have never spoken to a nicer photographer. He is truly a good guy.

We in San Francisco can thank legendary San Francisco Examiner, now chronicle photographer, Kim Komenich for starting up the gallery.

He worked on my 21mm SA and I had it back in a week and a half. If he's not responding to e-mail call him.

If I question it, it goes. I am a picture editor for a news agency and I can't tell you how many times I've looked at a portfolio only to see good pictures get dragged down by bad ones or ones the photog wasn't sure of.
IMHO, if it's mediocre toss it, all it's doing is taking up space.

Hey Kevin,
I have the same lens and have the metal hood #12585. I'm not sure if it's mismatched but my guess is that the German version of this lens came with the 12585. Not sure where you got the lens but maybe it was matched with a Canadian hood when sold, Either one will work fine but if you're collecting you will want the metal hood.

One other thing Bengt,
Does your photo show a 2 piece set on the left and a 3 piece set on the right?
Thanks
