    Thanks for the thought Tony.  The early AM sun gave it the typical golden glow but the cooler tones make he bird pop more. Now if someone can find a way to shut these birds up in the morning we will all get a bit more sleep.

    Hi Len, From what we can see it looks most likely to be a Peregrine. The apparent "sideburns", wing shape and coloring coloring are consistent with that idea. Looks like a good reason to go out for more shots of it. Good luck.
