I'm wondering if it might have a correction diopter installed. How can I tell??

I recently bought a Hasselblad NC2 Prism from a seller at a well-

known auction site. When it arrived in the mail, I put it on my

Hasselblad 500c/m and it is impossible to focus with. No matter what

distance the lens is focused, the image in the finder is blurry.

There are no obvious defects I can see, no rattles inside the prism.

Does anyone have a suggestion?
