Gorgeous light. Beautiful image, congratulations -
The hoodos reminded someone of the NY skyscrapers and this part of the park became known as Wall Street -
Taken right where the "Narrows" open up into the main canyon -
The trees seemed to have climbed up the canyon walls using a natural stairway -

While visiting a ranch with a student group in Paradise Valley Montana, we went for a ride into the hills with the rancher and his son. At one point we got off our horses so the rancher could explain the dilemma the Yellowstone wolf population posed for h -

While mom is scratching, one of her cubs peeks cautiously from behind a tree. No, the mother is not waving, she is holding onto the tree so she can rub her back. -
The stream comes from Mary Ann Falls. To take the image I got into the water to give the larger rock sufficient prominence in the image. -

As the sun dipped below the horizon it lit the undersides of the clouds in brilliant color. The building in the lower right is a dory making factory, now used for tourist demonstrations as well -
