  1. a very interesting thread about medium format. I think that a cheap and good folder with a sharp lens is also a choice for those who want to take medium format pictures. In my opinion, Ikonta, Isolette etc if they have a Tessar or Solinar lens and a fixed shutter perform very well and with minor difference in comparison with TLR like Rolleis.

It's my choice after using Rolleis and other Yashica or Seagull. Medium format is not really the format of the future then preserve your money.

  2. It's a very good lens even at the largest aperture. Mine was a bargain and when I bought it I don't think that it was so good. Contrast, sharpness, lightness, good mechanic...Better in contrast and sharpness than the 135 mm f3,5 and 2,5 and the 200mm f4.

I use it with my IST DS.

Some of pictures done in Chile are taken with this lens that I recommend.

  3. A really good camera for semi pro work with the 24 mm lens and many programs. Mine is a second hand camera in good shape. This camera is better outdoor with sun because it's slightly noisy @ 200 ISO and more.

I hesitate to take it in place of my DSLR IST ds. Results in sun are comparable.

Do you know some galeries of pros done with it?
