Not the usual california beach surfer! I love the intensity of the overall picture, the high contrast and the texture of the water. Do you scan your negative or your print?

I love your work in general. You seem to privilege tmax 3200 is their a reason for that? Also, do you process it on your own? I've developped this film at home a few times and had black and white lines appear on the negative. Did it ever happened to you? Thanks for your tips.

To walk one hour each day with a camera...what a dream, although I don't think my suburbian neighborhood would provide such beautiful views. Superb image. the band of purple ice adds an effective element of depth to the composition.

the composition is great, the texture and color of the snow are beautiful.

This shot was taken in downtown Montréal in a refugee camp for

homeless people. this 3 day event is organised annually by ATSA

(Action Terroriste Socialement Acceptable) to help the homeless in

the coldest days of winter and to draw all montrealers attention to

the hardship of some of their fellow citizens.

Marita: thanks for your encouragements. I'm slowly learning to use photoshop and I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy it a great deal.

 

Very unusual and interesting shot. I would push the contrasts a significant amount. It would bring out the alternance of the darker and lighter statues.

Somehow, it is psychologically difficult for me to crop. Any

suggestions on that?

Sylvie: merci beaucoup de vos suggestions. Je dois admettre que ça m'a fait de la peine de couper dans le chapeau. Votre interprétation de mon image est très intéressante mais ça me déstabilise un peu trop de voir un mur de granite qui penche vers l'avant.
