I should add that the print I was looking at is called 'Calm Waters'
by Richard Vanek!
It was a free print from him, very good picture,it's just the look of it that seemed strange!
I think they are some sort of archival inks and papers!
But,it seems printer do give a different look to negative prints,if you know what I mean!
-
I've just seen my first digital print from a negative (B&W),and it !looks kinda
strange,almost 3D like!
Is this normal, and is it true that if digital prints get wet they are ruined!

.....I believe Sony are now marketing their own compact flash card, too!
-
OK! Just sticking to the IGB compact flash cards etc. What's the quality of image like,or perhaps I should ask is the resolution of image related to the number of shots one takes!
BTW What's the difference between a card and a memory stick!

I intend delving into digital but,I want to know what prints from digital are
like, and what's their longevity on printed paper both color and B&W !
Is it as good as traditional photography!
Niall

What did your prints turn out like!
Did you like them!

The reason I said they were being discontinued is that they are no longer on the fuji global web site!
I think I'm right though they will be discontinued!
What bulk rolls are you talking about!
-
I thought these fuji films were being discontinued!

I hate to burst your bubble but,America isn't THE place for photography!
photography is everywhere, and I mention the fotolaborfourm.de,
bacause it is a good web site with very nice people, and one never knows
one might gain some information from them, and make friends with the people on that web site!

Just to let you people know that WWW.Fotoimpex.de in Germany also dedicate to B&W Questions!
They now have an English section for international queries!

I wonder if Fuji would be interested!
Anyway, I bought a 500ml bottle of multigrade developer
and discovered that it was two and a have years old,
so the suppliers here in my country replaced it with
two one Litre bottles,Yippeeee!
Hope they keep going!

Does anyone have rating and developing times for acros 100 and Neopan 400!
Niall
-
I know nothing about this pushing or pulling thing at all!
But,I'm using neopan 400 and 100 at there rated speeds!
But, know I'm going to try acros at 64 for 7mins, or there abouts!
I've already developed acros at 100 for 6.5 mins! Don't have prints yet!
The people here are right, you should try and develope tham yourself
it's so much more rewarding!
