Thanks for your time to comment my picture. I think the lost of sharpness was in the scanning of the 35 mm slide. I used a Nikon Coolpix 990 camera to shot the slide and convert to file. The original is extremely sharp.

That place makes me remember a little dessert we have here (in the middle of a tropical island) called "Las Dunas de Baní". Beautiful picture. I just would added a little more light to the foreground to emphasize the glow on the plants. but it's just my personal taste. Beautiful sunset to be there.....

I love the rhythm of the picture and the way the lines takes the eyes from up to the right lower corner. Amazing image. (thanks for your rating on my pic.).

Hi Becky, I think there's nothing wrong, everything is ALRIGHT because you are using Infrared film and is completely normal this surreal color rendition; keep experimenting with Ektachrome IR with different filters. I suggest you also try Kodak Hi Speed infrared film (black & white) with R72 and wraten #87 and #87c filters. You'll be amazed with the out-of-this-world tones you'll get. Nice to see your new posting here....and waiting your trip to Dominican Republic. :* To Denis:these color are COMPLETELY NORMAL using infrared film, so the color there is INTENTIONAL and experimental.

Hi Tony, I'm a real fan of the surreal appearance of infrared photography and I'm deeply impressed with your work. I would like you explain me the procedure you use since you have the red infrared image obtained shooting with a D SLR through a R72 infrared filter. Especially I love your two-tone images (How do you get that???), like "Infrared Part III", モCastle in Arcen IR モ, モDestination Fantasy World IR Care for a ride?ヤ, モIRヤ and others.
