    Gulag's Requiem

          1
The creation of a system of concentration and correctional labour camps began in the Soviet Union in 1919 but “blossomed” during Josef Stalin’s reign of terror. The word Gulag is actually an acronym (used from 1930) for (Glavnoye Upravleniye LAGerey), or Main Camp Administration, which was a special division of the secret police and the Soviet Ministry of the Interior overseeing the use of the physical labour of prisoners. Take care.

    Don Quixote

Don Quixote is a Spanish epic novel by Miguel de Cervantes. Originally published in two parts, in 1605 and 1615, its full title is The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha or, in Spanish, El ingenioso hidalgo (or caballero, in Part 2) don Quijote de la Mancha. Just a little spin on this story, take care.
  1. The Black Death (also known as the Pestilence, the Great Mortality or simply, the Plague) was a bubonic plague pandemic occurring in Afro-Eurasia from 1346 to 1353. It is the most fatal pandemic recorded in human history, causing the death of 75–200 million people in Eurasia and North Africa, peaking in Europe from 1347 to 1351 Take care.
  2. There are many dark secrets in the archieves that aren't in public domain. The Vatican Secret Archives includes state papers, correspondence, account books, and many other documents that the church has accrued over the centuries. Under the orders of Pope Paul V, the Secret Archive was separated from the Vatican Library in the 17th century. Take care.
  3. My inspiration came from artist Dali to compose this image, in times where most people feel the effect of world pandemic. It is based on his famous melting clocks that represent the omnipresence of time, and identify its mastery over human beings. It is said that Dali's inspiration for the soft watch came from the surreal way that Dalí saw a piece of runny Camembert cheese melting in the sun.

    Space Odyssey

It is said that every picture tells a story. In this image I am using Kubrick's Space Odyssey as foundation with mythology of Jupiter.

Jupiter (Latin: Iuppiter, also known as Jove) was the supreme God in the Roman mythology pantheon. Like many of the figures of Roman mythology, Jupiter was appropriated from the Greeks, and is virtually identical to the supreme God Zeus in Greek mythology. Jupiter was known as the Roman god of the heavens and the sky. Take care.

Nice presentation with good composition, for me image like this represents going back in time, where shutters such as these were pretty much in common, but are now seldom seen and understood what they protected, take care.
